black cat day dream welcomes artists Atsushi Nishijima and Takeshi Okajima, the Kyoto Kite Club, and artists from the World Wide Wind project, Fabian Gutscher and Mayumi Arai.

For an afternoon, they will offer their research of wind, the possibilities of kite harmonics, and fly kites at the river.

Works, screening, video installation by and in the presence of: Mayumi Arai, Fabian Gutscher, Foster Mickley, Atsushi Nishijima and the works of Takeshi Okajima and Wind Tunnel ZHdK.

black cat day dreamは、京都凧クラブのアーティスト、ニシジマ・アツシ氏と凧師 岡嶌毅 氏、そしてワールドワイドウィンドプロジェクトのアーティスト、ファビアン・グッチャー氏と新井麻弓氏をお迎えします。

午後のひととき、彼らは風に関する研究、凧の倍音の可能性について語り合い、川で凧揚げをします。

Triple Instruments - Through truth wind blows is an artistic research project led by Prof. Florian Dombois and his team funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation to explore the possibilities of making music with kites in the wind. In this multilayered research this project has been studying the sonic qualities of world wide winds, it includes a simple monthly ritual: flying kites in the Swiss mountains. These gatherings bring together scientists, musicians, writers, composers, and others to share an experimental moment̶ reflecting on the sky, the string, and the resonant body.

The Sound Kite Ensemble was founded in 2019 and has played since then in various formations. The current lineup consists of Ermanno Chiavi, Florian Dombois, Fabian Gutscher, and Sascha Jösler. The SKE plays always open air and holds the monthly public rehearsals of the Triple Instruments project in Sils Maria (Switzerland). It made appearances a.o. in Venice, Berlin, Singapore, and Puerto Rico. The first album was released in 2020 as The Venice Session (dinzu artefacts). 「Triple Instruments – Through truth wind blows(真実の風が吹き抜ける)」は、スイス国立科学財団(Swiss National Science Foundation)の助成を受け、フロリアン・ドンボワ(チューリッヒ芸術大学教授)とそのチームによって進められている芸術リサーチプロジェクトです。このプロジェクトでは、凧と風によって音楽を生み出す可能性を探究することを目的とし、世界各地の風が持つ音響的な特徴を調べています。また、プロジェクトでは毎月、スイスの高山湖のほとりで凧を揚げる実践が含まれます。この集まりには、科学者、音楽家、作家、作曲家など、さまざまな分野の人々が毎回参加し、参加者は空を見上げ、糸を感じ、共鳴体を通して音に耳を傾ける―そのような実験的なひとときを共有します。

サウンド・カイト・アンサンブル(Sound Kite Ensemble)
サウンド・カイト・アンサンブル(SKE)は、2019 年に結成された音楽グループです。結成以来、さまざまな編成で演奏活動を行い、現在のメンバーは、エルマノ・チアヴィ、ファビアン・グッチャー、サーシャ・ヨスラーの 4 名です。SKE は常に屋外で演奏を行い、スイスのシルス・マリアにて「トリプル・インストゥルメンツ」プロジェクトの月例公開リハーサルという名前の 下、コレクティブ・リスニングのイベントを実施しています。これまでにヴェネツィア、ベルリン、シンガポール、プエルトリコなど、世界各地で演奏を行ってきました。2020 年には、初のアルバム 『The Venice Session』(dinzu artefacts)をリリース。2025 年には、アーティストの新井麻弓氏と協働し、京都の日本の凧師やアーティストとの 交流を進める。最新のツアー情報： worldwidewind
